Amazon.com Review Built to last and easy to use in inclement weather, Coleman's Propane Grill/Stove can be counted on for hot meals in the outdoors when they're needed most. The stove's PerfectFlow propane feeding system offers precision-regulated fuel flow for consistent cooking performance without flaring or flickering. A steady fuel stream cooks and grills food evenly with no hotspots, even in cold weather, at high altitudes, or when fuel is low. Coleman's InstaStart electronic ignition offers easy, matchless lighting, and lights every time, so there's no wondering if the propane should, or shouldn't, be running still. Fully adjustable cooking power up to 10,000 BTUs per burner is plenty of heat for cooking large meals in cold weather. Burners stay lit in high winds even on low flame; so it's easy to keep soups warm without scorching. Large control knobs in front are easy to turn with gloved hands. A durable, enamel-painted steel case and aluminized cooking surface mean easy cleaning and longer stove life. A heavy-duty, removable chrome cooking grate and non-stick, cast-aluminum grill grate won't warp from heat or rust in rain for years of reliable outdoor cooking. And, Coleman's folding WindBlock system folds down to double as convenient side shelving for condiments, spices, and utensils. Best of all, the stove burns for up to 4-1/2 hours on low using one 16.4-ounce propane cylinder (sold separately), which is a big help when there's a cold storm to wait out. Coleman backs this stove with a lifetime limited warranty. --Brian Olson

It works great. Good combo stove/grill. February 14, 2010 Flyer (Littleton, Colorado) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It just plain works. Its hot enough to put a good sear on a steak. Its clean to use, we line the grill area with foil, easy clean. Fairly compact.
We have been camping since 1973, its the best yet.
Cooking it up January 10, 2010 D. Hunt (Rockwall,tx usa) This is what i was looking for.I wanted something kinda small and easy to use. Love the way it folds ups and has the electronic start. Just unfold and attach the propane bottle and start cook'en.Hope to get alot of use out of this.
OK....but... September 22, 2009 Harold (Katy, TX) We bought this grill about a year ago because we liked the separate burner alongside the grill. That feature is great, but the grill side suffers. It has hot and cold spots and is difficult to clean. The wind panels on the side that support the top in a vertical position are somewhat flimsy and the attachment comes loose often. Also, if the left panel (near the burner side) is engaged, there is not much space for a pot on the burner. The igniter burned off after a few uses and I now use a lighter to light the gas rather than putting more money into this thing for a replacement igniter. All in all, after a year's use, we are going to junk this grill and try to find a decent one.
A Good Gompromise Grill September 4, 2009 Loring Green (Tucson, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Coleman Grill Stove offers both a grill and a stove burner. The grill is smallish, about one foot square, but big enough to easily do 4 servings of meat or fish. I like the thin dimension of the grill which is achieved by not having a smoker hood capability. Cooking is achieved only by the direct heat and the contact with the grill bars, which give the meat nice "grill marks". I line the reflector under the grill with foil for each use. It simplifies cleanup and increases the radiant heating by reflection. I am pleased with the very quick warm up and what I consider to be good fuel economy, about 8 meals per one pound canister. I also bought the griddle for this unit and am very pleased with the versatility and very uniform heat, no hot spots. The naugahyde carrying case is a little to tight, but works well.
great stove and grill August 31, 2009 Scott George (Monterey, CA United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This stove and grill combo is a gem. We bought it as a way to transition from backpacking to car camping. It's truly easier and more fool proof than grilling at home! The temperature nobs are not like a home grill with discreet "click" spots in the dial for low, medium or high; rather, temp control is like on a backpacking stove stove with a simple valve adjustment that you turn higher or lower based upon what the flame size is. The griddle is a great add on, too. People say not good idea to use metal utensils on non-stick grill; not really clear what specific ones would be good to purchase for use with this grill. Used four days for breakfast and dinner, still gas in canister. One recommendation not specifically related to this grill; think about how you want to make your coffee. I believe the coleman coffee maker might work with this stove, and it looks to be the size of an at-home coffee maker. If want to just use a backpacking style one-shot coffee set up; for ease of pouring, consider bringing an actual teapot style pot for boiling. Summary statement: don't leave for car-camping without this combo stove/grill; it brings added enjoyment to the experience.
