Product Description Here is the perfect grill for the beach, camping, or a weekend getaway to the lake. This portable grill features Weber's patented Flavorizer System, which distributes heat evenly across the cooking surface, essentially eliminating flare-ups.
Amazon.com Review Weber's Go-Anywhere gas grill adds convenience to the fun of camping and tailgating. This compact unit has a surprisingly generous grilling area--large enough to fit four medium steaks. The push-button ignition system makes lighting the fire easier than ever, and the patented heat-distributing Flavorizer bar ensures that your food cooks evenly and efficiently every time. You can lock the lid into place with the pivoting legs and carry this lightweight grill around in one hand. Built-in lid hangers allow you to rest the lid on the side of the grill to create an effective barrier against the wind. The triple-nickel-coated steel grate is easy to clean, and the porcelain-enameled steel lid and cooking box are built to last.

Great little portable grill September 6, 2010 moongovernor This is a great little portable grill. I used this on a month long boat trip and it worked great for hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, veggies, etc.
It's easy to clean and lightweight. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the igniter didn't work. I had to pull out the grilling rack and the triangular black piece of metal directly above the burner to light the grill. Just a little bit of a hassle.
If you buy this grill (and depending on how you plan to use it), I highly recommend you also buy the Weber 6501 6' Adapter Hose For Weber Q Series & Gas Go-Anywhere. This will allow you to connect the grill to a full size propane tank so you don't have to keep buying the little cannisters this is designed to use.
great camping grill September 5, 2010 gwo This is a really good camping grill. Lights very easy without matches. You can use the fat round gas cylinders okay even though the instructions call for the long thin clyinders. I have cooked steaks, hamburgers and hotdogs on it so far and they have turned out great. No burnt food either. Even used it to feed a crowd of 12 people. You can cook about 6 burgers at a time. No sticking of the food on the grate. I have had several small grills over the past 15 years and without a doubt this is the best one yet.
Poor Performer August 31, 2010 Mark Alexander 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was searching for a good portable gas grill for camping. Maybe you get what you pay for in the end. Set up was easy, it started fine and heated, but not enough to put grill marks on burgers. The only time it got hot enough is if there were flare ups from the dripping fat onto the flavorizer plate, but that in itself created gas outages. I had to monitor the grill to ensure that the flame did not go out and every so often I had to push the starter to reignite.
I am a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America and consider myself an accomplished cook with a very keen eye for quality. I cannot recommend this purchase for anyone other than the average casual cook. This grill will cook hot dogs and sausages fine, but the more expensive cuts deserve more respect. Since I own one now, I will continue to use it for only low impact grilling without any wind to blow out the flame. If you are searching for a good grill, pan this purchase and continue your search. For me, I think I would have been better served with a charcoal grill. Happy camping.
Flavor, flavor, flavor! August 30, 2010 Tweakie I've gone through an assortment of types of grills in my life this one delivers the flavour. It's great for one or two person household or a camping trip. It does take time to heat up for a gas grill about 10 to 15 minutes, this is the only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star. What it can do to lamb chops is unbelievable. I've never had such delicious meat until I used this grill. It does use those little propane tanks and they can be refilled just like the big tanks for the bigger gas grills. From what I've read it is possible to hook up a bigger tank. I leave this little grill in a corner in the kitchen and when I want to use it I attach my little tank and away we go. When finished the tank comes off for safe storage and the grill is back in it's spot in the kitchen. It's small enough to keep in the house so it doesn't rust in the bad weather. All the times I've used it it's never left drippings on the deck. All the drippings evaporate to make the meat so tasty. Works wonderful with veggies too.
Terrific grill; does great job in the winter, too August 27, 2010 Aspasia (USA) This is my second season using this nifty little grill and the more I use it, the more I enjoy it. It heats quickly and evenly, and cooks very well.
It's small enough to sit on a table inside my screened back porch and I prefer using the small propane canisters, just to save space. Even though I live in a cold and snowy area, we used the grill during the winter months as well, thanks to the covered porch off the kitchen.
No rust so far, but in case the flavor bar does start to rust, it can be replaced for $10. The cooking grid and flavor bar are small enough to easily clean in the kitchen sink.
