Who says true barbecue grilling was meant for the outdoors? The Minden Master Range Top Grill is the ultimate indoor grilling tool. The unique design allows for true open-flame cooking while keeping the mess of barbecuing within the grill. The Range Top Grill uses the same heavy-duty grate design, enameled steel firebox and cover as the Minden Master Grill. the grill is round in diameter and works on any standard, raised electric, gas or propane stove. The grill offers a round opening on the bottom that allows for the grill to sit over the burner to produce heat. The added heat shield helps to evenly cook the food and deflect grease that drops into a trough to prevent flair backs. As the fat drips off the meat it hits the shield and helps to evenly cook the food. The silicon handles are removable allowing the grill to be cleaned in any dishwasher or self-cleaning oven for a low maintenance approach to everyday cooking. Since the Range Top Grill mimics the performance of a real BBQ range, it is recommended it be used on a range with adequate ventilation.

 Be sure your electric stove is 220 volts August 31, 2010

One thing you don't see is that your electric stove has to be 220 volts. This grill does not work for me, it doesn't get hot enough,but there was no info on what stove it doesn't work with.
I ORDERED THIS ON 08,28. IT STILL HAS NOT SHIPPED. VERY DISAPOINTED August 31, 2010

I ordered this product on 08/28. Today is 08/31 and it still hasn't shipped. Very disapointed with amazon.

I never write reviews but . . . I bought this grill for vegetables because I am a vegetarian and only need it for a few specific recipes. I was hoping against hope that this grill would be an answer to prayer and bingo it was - AWESOME is all I can say. For what I need it for there is no smoke and it does a fabulous job - I just spray the grill with oil and I get the best grilled eggplant, zucchini, etc with a right of the grill taste. No running back and forth to a BBQ not having to buy propane and best of all cleans up in the sink and pops right into my dishwasher. The cover could have been a bit more dome shape but kudos Minden Master on a grill well done (pun intended ;-) this is opening up a whole new cooking world for me and my family....

We bought this item to see if we could live without an outdoor grill. We're remodeling, and the idea was we wouldn't need a kitchen door to the outside if we can grill satisfactorily inside under our vent hood. We understood that there would be some smoke, and actually thought that would mean some genuine grilled meat. We tried some chops, following the directions carefully about preheating. The chops could have been fried in a pan with ridges just as well when it came to grilled taste! If possible, we'd like to return the item for a refund!

Ordered grill and it works as discribed. great for indoor cooking but you must have very good ventilation.
